Okay, I know some of you are wondering why I was watching the Style Network, but the Writer’s Strike has made us take drastic measures (and I love “Clean House”)… and the rest of you have no idea what I’m talking about… but you will, and may wish you hadn’t…
Anyhow, has anyone seen this show? “Keeping up with the Kardashians” is a show about this Hollywood family – not sure why they are Hollywood… Mom is the “manager” of the daughter… Daughter is a something wannabee – not even sure what her dream is… oh, and Mom is married to BRUCE JENNER! Yes, that Bruce Jenner…
So can anyone explain why this show is on TV? Although I guess it goes along with why Big Brother is on TV except those are wanabees placed in an unrealistic scenario so the level of integrity is already low… As far as the Kardashians go – I’m not sure why we want to watch this family live in LA…
You are now saying – but you watched it! Yes. Once. For about 20 minutes! Even I have my standards… low as they may be!
(BTW – “Keeping up with the Kardashians” is on Thursday at 9PM on Style Network - if you want to catch this train-wreck… maybe it’s like a soap opera, after a while you really do care about what happens…)

You still haven’t explained who-in-the-hell they are. Why do they have a show about them? What did they do? Why should anyone (sane or otherwise) want to “keep up” with them? I have NEVER watched the show, don’t intend to, but I see the show in the cable guide. So, I was wondering why they have a show. These days it seems that all you have to do to get on TV is know Britney or Paris, and/or take your clothes and/or do something else sleazy. Based upon what I’ve read so far, I think a better title would be “Slowing down for the Kardashians.”

Their deceased father was one of the lawyers in the OJ Simpson trial and now they are uber rich.
